Aquareka is shutting down on November 12, 2026
I built Aquareka to offer a better alternative to forums and books for managing your aquarium. Since then, the technology landscape has evolved rapidly. As a solo developer, the time and resources required to keep the app updated to modern standards are simply more than I can continue to provide, so I have made the difficult decision to shut it down.
What this means for your data:
If you have used the app to create aquarium plans and log water parameters, please export your data via the Aquariums screen before November 12, 2026. After this date, the app will be removed from the app stores and servers will be taken offline.
I want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who gave the app a chance, and especially to those who purchased the premium version. Your support kept this project alive. Thank you as well to everyone who provided constructive feedback over the years—you directly helped make Aquareka better.
I hope I was able to make someone's start in the aquaristic journey a little bit easier.
